To bad that we will not see you at the WTCC this year. Are there possibilities for you to drive LeMans this year ?? (Or even better : The LeMans Series)Volvo announced that they will support Polestar for another 3 years and that there are prematore plans to join the WTCC in 2011. Are ther chances for you to drive for them next year??THAT WOULD BE GREAT !! ALSO FROM A COMMERCIAL PIONT OFF VIEUW FOR VOLVO !! Rickard says: Hi! This year I will do some commentating for ViaSat Motor in Sweden. I have no plans to race this year at all yet - maybe that will change during this year, you never know... If there is a good opportunity to come back in 2011 I might decide to do that :)

Dear Rickard, I wish you can enjoy the commentator's work this year. I would like to ask: what's do think of the value of macau circuit? Could it be a world-class track?Bruce

Rickard says: I think that Macau is one of the best to race on! I rate it among the top three circuits that I have raced on ever. Some very tough corners, and also good for slipstreaming that makes for good racing :)

Rydell Special Award is presented to a young, promising Swedish racing driver with ambitions to race in an international single seater series. The 50.000 SEK prize is presented to the winner at the annual Bilsport Award in Sweden.

”This is a way for me, in cooperation with motoring magazine Bilsport, to give something back to the sport that have given me so much over the years”, says Rickard Rydell.
