09-02-13 - SEAT unveil the 2009 livery
During the Barcelona test this week SEAT Sport unveiled its 2009 livery. The blue of red Bull has been replaced by striking red and black of Club SEAT, along with greater presence of main sponsor Repsol.
SEAT Sport will enter the 2009 FIA WTCC with a new livery on the successful Leon TDI. The base colour is of course yellow but now black and red of Club SEAT has replaced the blue of Red Bull. Also main sponsor Repsol has increased its presence on the car.
”I like it” said Rickard Rydell and added ”but the most important thing for me is that the car is fast, which this one is.”
During the two day test at Circuit de Catalunya, the home circuit for SEAT Sport, Rickard Rydell and his teammates continued the preparations for the 2009 season.
”This time I drove both days and they proved to be really useful. During the season there’s hardly any time for time consuming development work, just refinement. Now we can test different brake pads to make sure we use the best one for us and we can also test things for improved reliability such as better cooling and engine installation.”
The team will do a final test next week before heading to Brazil and the first race of the year.
